Taylor Farm is a 180 year old farm in the Green Mountains of Vermont. The family has operated the farm for the past 16 years. Their herd consists of 40 Holstein and Jersey milk cows, each individually named and cared for in a traditional tie-stall barn.
Originally strictly a dairy operation, over the years they have added a cheese making facility, lodging, a farm stand, sleigh rides and educational activities. In 2001 the farm was put into conservation through the Vermont Land Trust and the generosity of the Freeman Foundation and many of their neighbors. We purchased a portion of the farm and continue to practice sustainable agriculture on the entire property
